Velcro and Duct Tape are Your New Best Pals

Velcro, duct tape and I have a special bond.
No pun intended. Use these products to hang your décor,
secure gadgets or even fix a drafty RV bathroom vent cover!

Make Everything Glow!

Well, not everything. For starters, illuminate your camper’s steps for a safer climb at night. You can also try painting the inside of a glass jar with some glow-in-the dark paint for an energy-free light source.

From Cheap Laundry Basket, to Collapsible Outdoor Trashcan

If you’ve got an RV, chances are you’re an outdoorsy kinda person. Having a picnic or barbecue? Bring along one of these re-purposed laundry baskets for easy cleanup, your RV resort or RV park manager will appreciate it!

More Help at the Barbecue

Having trouble getting the grill going?
Get it done fast with this cool setup.
The egg carton acts as kindling
and a wind barrier to get the coal really going.

Re-Purposed Flag Pole

We love these outdoor fixes because traveling in an RV limits the supplies you can take with you, so it’s important to bring the important stuff. Check out this repurposed flag pole we got for 8 bucks. It’s a perfect outdoor paper towel holder.

Clear Sewer Pipe Elbow

Nobody wants to see what goes on down there. That’s why the pipe doesn’t come see-through! Nonetheless an experienced RV camper should know the condition of his sewer pipes, and having a clear elbow will allow you to gauge any problems without actually opening that can of worms.

What can we use a shoe organizer for?

Plenty. These storage blankets can be
re-purposed to hold just about anything. Kitchen spices, bathroom wash products, you name it.
Take a look around your RV and you’ll see a few spots where one of these could really save you some space.

Notice these savvy campers have all their linens organized and readily available with their re-purposed shoe storage blanket.

Keep the bugs away with Pine sol

It works less well with peskier bugs like the mosquito, but overall bugs just hate the smell of some good old Pine Sol. Take some time and wipe down the counters and other surfaces in your camper for an easy and safe repellent.

Keep the heat in with vent insulators

Picture
It’s a very common- almost universal issue. Older RV Campers leak heat. Luckily, being such a known issue there are easy fixes. Go out and buy one of these vent insulators, a glorified pillow, and stuff it up into your vent. It’ll help retain the temperature in your RV, and save you a ton of money in the long run.
Get them for less than 10 bucks

Easy Outdoor Washing Station

I can think of plenty of times where I needed to wash up,
but going into the camper to do it would just track a mess everywhere.
Check out this borderline genius RV hack.
All you need is a leg of pantyhose tied around a spigot with a bar of soap inside.
The sock is thin enough that the soap bubbles come out with water for an easy wash.
